Proposal for Implementing a User Feedback System in Galxe

Abstract

This proposal aims to implement a user feedback system in Galxe. This system will allow users to provide feedback on the platform’s features, usability, and overall experience, thereby helping Galxe to continuously improve and meet user needs.

Motivation

User feedback is crucial for the success of any platform. It helps the platform understand its users’ needs, preferences, and pain points, thereby guiding its development and improvement efforts. Currently, Galxe lacks a formal mechanism for collecting and analyzing user feedback.

Specification

Overview

The user feedback system will be integrated into Galxe’s existing platform. It will include features for users to rate their experience, provide comments, and suggest improvements. The system will also include an analytics dashboard for Galxe’s team to review and analyze the feedback.

The system will include features for users to rate their experience on a scale (for example, from 1 to 5), provide comments about what they liked or disliked, and suggest improvements or new features they would like to see. This could cover everything from the usability of the platform, the effectiveness of the credential data network, to the quality of customer support.

To ensure that all feedback is taken into account, the system will be designed to accept and categorize feedback from all types of users, whether they are credential contributors, developers using the Application Modules, Credential Oracle, and Credential API, or general users interacting with Galxe ID.

On the backend, an analytics dashboard will be developed for Galxe’s team. This dashboard will display key metrics about the feedback received, such as the number of feedback submissions, average rating scores, common issues raised by users, and suggestions for improvement. The dashboard will also include tools for analyzing trends in the feedback over time and comparing feedback across different user segments.

Scope

The scope of this proposal includes the design, development, testing, and deployment of the user feedback system. It also includes user education about the new feature and ongoing maintenance and improvement based on user feedback.

  1. Design: This stage involves designing the user interface and user experience of the feedback system. It includes creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, and conducting usability testing to ensure the system is intuitive and user-friendly.
  2. Development: This stage involves developing the feedback system and integrating it into Galxe’s existing platform. It includes front-end and back-end development, database management, and API integration. The system will be developed to be scalable and secure, ensuring it can handle a large volume of feedback and protect users’ privacy.
  3. Testing: This stage involves testing the feedback system to ensure it works correctly and provides a good user experience. It includes functional testing, performance testing, security testing, and user acceptance testing.
  4. Deployment: This stage involves deploying the feedback system to Galxe’s production environment. It includes server setup, data migration, and system configuration.
  5. User Education: This stage involves educating users about the new feature. It includes creating user guides, tutorial videos, FAQ pages, and providing customer support to help users understand how to use the feedback system effectively.
  6. Ongoing Maintenance: This stage involves maintaining and improving the feedback system based on user feedback. It includes bug fixing, feature enhancement, performance optimization, and customer support.

Each of these stages is crucial for the successful implementation of the user feedback system.

Success Criteria

The success of this proposal will be measured by the number of users using the feedback system and the quality of feedback received. Specific metrics may include the number of feedback submissions received, the average rating score, and the number of actionable suggestions for improvement.

Timeline/Budget

The estimated timeline for this proposal is six months, with a budget of $50,000. This budget includes the cost of design, development, testing, deployment, user education, and ongoing maintenance.
The total budget is $50,000, which is allocated as follows:

  • Design: $10,000. This includes user interface and user experience design. We may need to simplify the design to fit the budget.
  • Development: $25,000. This is the most critical part of the project, so we’ll allocate half of the budget here. We may need to prioritize essential features and leave out some nice-to-have features.
  • Testing: $5,000. We’ll conduct essential tests to ensure the system works correctly and provides a good user experience.
  • Deployment: $2,500. This includes deploying the feedback system to Galxe’s production environment.
  • User Education: $2,500. We’ll create user guides and FAQ pages to educate users about the new feature.
  • Ongoing Maintenance: $5,000. This includes maintaining and improving the feedback system based on user feedback.

Please note that these are estimated costs and actual costs may vary depending on various factors.
